2023 First-Generation College Celebration

Assumption University First Generation Student Success plans to kick off First-Gen Month with a Dress For Success tabling event to provide students with tips on how to dress for the position they want in preparation for our Alumni Career, Networking, and Internship Fair. On November 8, AU celebrates First-generation college students, graduates, and advocates at our annual cupcake reception. Later in November, we will offer our student leaders, faculty, and staff an opportunity to discuss Alexandria Campoverdi's book, First-Gen: A Memoir. Finally, AU will cap off the month with a NASPA webinar on how to help first-generation students balance their evolving family and academic environments.
