Senior Director, First Scholars Initiatives

The senior director for First Scholars Initiatives will serve a vital role in leading and supervising an organizational and project management structure for delivering the multi-faceted elements of the initiative. Responsibilities include leading a dynamic team in a remote environment, process oversight and task management, communications and marketing, administrative and fiscal leadership, and engagement with institutional and association partners, third-party contractors, and funders. The senior director will drive overall progress and attainment of key milestones to ensure Network institutions are advancing their objectives. The senior director will work closely with the First Scholars team as well as all members of the Center staff and colleagues across NASPA.

Associate Director for Expert Guidance, First Scholars Initiatives

Expert Guidance, a hallmark of the First Scholars experience, partners content experts with First Scholars Network institutions to guarantee successful completion of each programmatic element and deliver support customized to institutional needs. The associate director will lead oversight of the Expert Guidance experience and will be responsible for identifying, selecting, and training service providers as well as members of the Center staff who also fill this role. The associate director will assist with the day-to-day management of both institutional and external partner relationships, communications, milestone progress, and relevant data analysis and reporting. The associate director will work in close partnership with the Center’s First Scholars team to execute the implementation of First Scholars strategic plans.

Research and Data Associate

The research and data associate will serve a vital role in coordinating and implementing the institutional data submission processes for the First Scholars Network. Working jointly with third-party partners, the associate will develop a comprehensive onboarding experience, guide institutions through successful submission, and support data analysis and reporting. The research and data associate will track data sharing agreement completion, data submission progress, and key milestones to ensure Network institutions are in compliance with all requirements. The associate will work closely with the associate director to deploy First Scholars diagnostic tools, complete data analysis, and prepare reports for institutions. The research and data associate will also support research, assessment, and evaluation efforts for future Center research as well as existing programs and services.

Program Coordinator for First Scholars Initiatives

The program coordinator for First Scholars Initiatives will serve a key role in coordinating and supporting the organizational and project management structure for delivering the multi-faceted elements of the initiative. Responsibilities include supporting a dynamic team in a remote environment, process oversight and task management, communications and marketing, administrative and fiscal management, and engagement with institutional and association partners, third-party contractors, and funders. The program coordinator will track progress and key milestones to ensure Network institutions are in compliance with all requirements. The program coordinator will work closely with the First Scholars team as well as all members of the Center staff and colleagues across NASPA.
