Benji Smith

Benji is a digital media creative with a wide range of talents, from graphic design and web development to video and media production. He is passionate about reaching people through intuitive design and multi-media by creating engaging experiences for audiences. An accomplished designer and illustrator with over 24 years in the industry he specializes in creating engaging and accessible designs for both digital and physical mediums. In his video and film work, he has been privileged to work with and help produce content for, national bestselling authors, TED Talk-recognized speakers, and Emmy-winning documentary films. Benji is an avid photographer who has been shooting digital and film formats for over 30 years.

Before joining the Center, Benji was the Digital Media Specialist for Texas State University's online and extended programs overseeing all media, website, branding, and design aspects for the university's online branch. A life-long learner, he is always studying new creative techniques and keeping up with the newest breakthroughs in media, web, and design.
