Lydia Nicholson

Prospect Manager, Center for First-generation Student Success

Lydia Nicholson serves as the prospect manager for the growth team at the Center for First-generation Student Success, an initiative of NASPA and The Suder Foundation. 

Previously, she served as associate director of development at the University of Maryland–College Park; executive director of the Rochester Academy of Medicine, and grants coordinator at the Baltimore Child Abuse Center–for which she secured over $8 million in funding. Lydia is a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, and SIT Graduate Institute. She is currently earning her MBA from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. Lydia lives in East Sandwich, Massachusetts with her husband, Justin, two cats, Churchill and Emma, and Cooper, a rescued Shih Tzu.
