2021 First-Generation College Celebration

We are hosting "First Gen Week" at Agnes Scott College!

First Gen Week Social Media

November 8th-12th

The entire week PathMakers will have posts highlighting First Gen Scotties, past and present, daily in addition to sending out facts about First Gen students including resources.

First Gen Celebration Day Kick-Off

November 8th

We will distribute "I'm First" T-shirts for a group picture of First Gen students, staff, and faculty. We will have a DJ for the event. First Gen students will be provided chalk for chalking "I'm First" outside of our student center. Additionally, we will host a board outside for First Gen Scotties to write what being First means to them.

We are also creating a video for Scotties First Gen and non-First Gen to participate in a video explaining why being First Gen is important to them and non-First Gen speaking to their First Gen Scottie sibling. The video will be released on Friday, October 12th as a Thank you to the Agnes Scott College community for their support of our PathMakers.
