Alverno College is hosting its inaugural First-Gen Week from November 6-10th. Thanks to our new first-generation student organization, FIRST@Alverno, in collaboration with our Student Success Department, Office of Student Engagement and Leadership, and Promise Scholar Advising Program, we are hosting the following events and activities, with more to be added next week:
NOV 6: First-Generation Undergraduate Cording Ceremony for the First-Generation Class of December 2023 | 6:30-8 pm | Conference Center
NOV 7: First-Gen Gear Giveaway | 12-1 pm | Commons Lobby
NOV 8: FIRST@Alverno’s First-Gen Food Fair: A Multicultural Potluck Celebration | 12-1 pm | FO 146 & 148
NOV 9: FIRST@Alverno Get-Together | 12- 1 pm | FO 146
NOV 10: Friends and Family Forum: A Day in the Life of an Alverno STEM Student | 6-8 pm | Alumnae Hall
