2018 First-Generation College Celebration

This is the first year that Arkansas Tech University is participating in this celebration, the program will be small, but will still aim to create awareness and celebration first-generation students, staff, and faculty. Through the department social media page, information will be sent out about the celebration, highlighting first-generation ATU students, faculty and staff, and there will be links to helpful resources for first-generation students. Also, buttons will be handed out to first-generation students to demonstrate that they are appreciated and valued for their contributions. Additionally, the University's communications department will play a key role in helping to increase the publicity for this event.
