2020 First-Generation College Celebration

First Forward, Drexel's First-generation program, will be celebrating remotely via Zoom with events taking place from November 2nd through the 9th. All events will be open to students, faculty, staff, and alumni. The week will kick off with a virtual mixer hosted by Alumni Relations. Towards the end of the week, the College of Medicine will host a panel for students interested in medical school. Undergraduate Research & Enrichment Programs will host a research session allowing students to showcase research they conduct. The final event, a student panel featuring veterans and civilians sharing their classroom experiences, will be co-hosted with the Office of Veteran Student Services.

2019 First-Generation College Celebration

2019 marks the first year Drexel celebrated. The events were open to all students, faculty, staff, and alumni in the university community regardless of first-generation status. The events hosted included a lunch and learn around work/life balance, a speed networking mixer, and a story slam.
