2020 First-Generation College Celebration
For 2020, Emory expanded its celebration of the first-generation community across a whole week. Activities included an interview with first-gen student leaders and Emory's First Lady and first-gen graduate Carmel Fenves; social media campaigns on identities as first-gen students and graduates; panels on navigating college as FGLI, financial aid, and applying to graduate school; a virtual screening party of 'Becoming'; and a FGEN faculty and staff panel.
