2020 First-Generation College Celebration
Gateway Technical College upscaled their first-generation college celebration to a week-long virtual event. The event included a Proud to be First panel discussion, financial literacy sessions, first-gen videos, trivia, and more. In addition, a robust branding campaign was developed which included T-shirts, laptop/device decals, bilingual buttons, and virtual backgrounds. Lastly, a libguide was created in partnership with campus library to offer continued learning opportunities and access additional resources on first-gen.

2019 First-Generation College Celebration
Gateway Technical College's 2019 inaugural First-Generation Celebration was a three-day event that included customizable first-generation buttons, first-gen selfies, and the distribution of sweet goods.
