2022 First-Generation College Celebration

Harvard's inaugural First Generation Visibility Week will take place between November 3 - November 9, 2022, as an initiative led by the Harvard Foundation for Intercultural and Race Relations with the following goals:

• Increase awareness around the systemic barriers that impact first-generation college students
• Validate and celebrate the identities of first-generation college students to thrive at Harvard
• Equip first-generation college students with the Community Cultural Wealth (Yosso, 2005) to thrive at Harvard
