2023 First-Generation College Celebration
The First-Generation College Celebration of 2023 at Kean University will kick off with a First Gen. Breakfast, providing students with an opportunity to connect with other first-generation students, faculty, and staff. This will be followed by a large Celebration in the Student Center from 12 pm-2 pm. We invite the University community to join us for music, giveaways, food, and to discover more about the resources available to first-generation students.
2019 First-Generation College Celebration
This will be the first time Kean University participates in First-Generation College Celebration. The celebration will include tabling to promote first-generation college student awareness lcoated in the student center, as well as, provide a dinner for both mentees/mentors which will encompass keynote speakers, and a first-generation panel.
