2020 First-Generation College Celebration
Marymount University is proud to join the national celebration of First-generation college students. The Office of the Dean of Students invites the entire campus to celebrate November 5-9 as we raise awareness and support our First-gen Marymount community.
Thursday, November 5 from 6:00-7:00 PM
Join us virtually for a fun-filled hour of music, trivia, and prizes featuring DJ Faro. Register here!
Friday, November 6 from 11:30 AM-1:30 PM
The Dean of Students will have a first-generation tabling event in the cafeteria to share important resource information about being first-generation and hand out free first-gen swag.
Sunday, November 8
Use social media to promote first-gen pride using #CelebrateFirstGen2020 and #FirstGenSaints. Look out for a custom Marymount Snapchat filter!
