2021 First-Generation College Celebration

The TRiO Student Support Services office and the Division of Access, Diversity, and Inclusion and Mississippi State University is excited to host the 2021 First Generation Celebration! Our theme "#LastFirstGen" symbolizes being the last first-generation scholar in your lineage to obtain a 4-year degree and set a precedent for success. We are hosting the following events, and have included a full flyer and promotional images of single events:

November 1 - Inclusive Classroom Series with Dr. Georgianna Martin

November 8 - National First Gen Day Celebration on the Drill Field

November 9 - COE Virtual First-Gen Faculty & Staff Lunch & Learn

November 10 - First-Gen Success Seminar

November 18 - First-Gen Mix & Mingle

November 30 - First-Gen Graduation Celebration
