2018 First-Generation College Celebration

To honor first-generation college students, Reed College is hosting a dinner on November 1 for students, staff, faculty, and local alumni who identify as first-generation college students. Community members also will receive "I'm First!" pins, stickers, and posters to display their support across campus. Finally, community members will have the opportunity to write gratitude post cards to share with loved ones, mentors, and others who have supported them in and through their journey to college.

In addition, Reed College will be launching an “I’m First” campaign throughout the month of November. The campaign will consist of posters and social media posts that highlight first-generation college students to the surrouding community.
