2020 First-Generation College Celebration

Seattle Central College will celebrate and recognize first-generation college students (first in their families to attend/graduate from college) in honor of National First-Generation Celebration Day (Sunday, November 8th). Activities include a 1st Gen Scholar Mini-keynote, 1st Gen Family Photo, 1st Gen Social, as well as a 1st Gen Student Success workshops featuring a 1st Gen Faculty lecture and a virtual space for Veterans (in honor of Veteran’s Day). Celebrate with us on social media using #FirstGenForward, #CelebrateFirstGen, and #TRIOworks. All events will be hosted virtually on Zoom.
