2018 First-Generation College Celebration

SUNY Jefferson held a walk-thru/talk-thru event, where students were asked to share their experiences and goals. SUNY Jefferson First-Gen Faculty and Staff were invited to assist. Also, there was a "Dream Board" and the community was invited to write their First-Gen dreams. There were 119 students actively participate in a 2 hour event.

Jefferson Community College has a FaceBook Page where two entries about SUNY Jefferson events were included and a piece leading up using the hashtags #iAMFirstGeneration #celebratefirstgen.
