2022 First-Generation College Celebration

The National First-Generation College Day is a chance to celebrate students, faculty, and staff who are the first in their families to pursue a four-year undergraduate degree. This annual celebration is held to acknowledge and elevate the identities and contributions of current and former first-generation students. Colleges and universities across the United States recognize this day & create spaces that so rarely exist for our first generation students.

Joining in that tradition, the First Generation Success Initiative invites you to join us on November 8th, 2022 from 2 pm-4 pm in the Intercultural Center (Roscoe West 201). This celebratory and supportive space will be full of great food, fun games, and opportunities to forge friendships and bonds that will enhance your personal and professional growth.
