2023 First-Generation College Celebration

The University of Richmond will again be offering a full week of events for National First-Gen Celebration Week. Our main event will be a celebration dinner featuring a keynote from Dr. Crystal Hoyt, faculty in Leadership Studies and a former first-gen student with numerous first-gen faculty and staff dining with our students. We will offer a session of professional headshots along with a concurrent Career Services Drop-In Session. Financial Aid will offer a workshop and individual help sessions, and we will offer a session on applying to graduate school. We will wrap up with a fun Saturday trip off-campus to go apple picking.
