2020 First-Generation College Celebration
On November 4th, Tulsa Community College (TCC) will be hosting a virtual First Gen Celebration! This exciting event will be a time to celebrate first-generation students at TCC! Students will also have the opportunity to hear from employers and professionals who were first-generation college students! During the event, a special First Gen Celebration video will be shown. This video will highlight first-generation students, faculty, and staff at TCC!
2019 First-Generation College Celebration
In 2019, the Tulsa Community College (TCC) Trio office held an open house for first-generation students to celebrate. The open house raised awareness of the resources Trio provides for first-gen students. Also, Career Services and Trio collaborated to host an event called First Gen Fest. At First Gen Fest, students were able to hear from employers and professionals who were first-gen students.
