Since 2017 was their first year as an organization on campus, F1RSTGEN decided to celebrate first-generation students throughout the whole school year. They started with our Kick-Off Bash at the beginning of the fall semester to welcome new first-generation students to campus. They also celebrated National First-Generation College Celebration on November 8 by passing out donuts, taking pictures, and allowing students, faculty, and staff an opportunity to sign our F1RSTGEN posterboard.
