2018 First-Generation College Celebration

The 2018 celebration will be the first time that Western Michigan University participates in First-Generation College Celebration!

The plans include celebrating first-generation students, staff, and faculty by collaborating with several departments across campus through "celebration tables" hosted by the departments in key areas on campus. Some of the departments participating this year are Residence Life, Office of Student Transitions, TRiO, the college of education, the business school and more!

Each "celebration table" will give away "I'm Proud to be the First" stickers, testimonial cards, have photo opportunities and more!
