Leadership Academy
We are also thrilled to announce our second annual Leadership Academy at the NASPA Conferences on Student Success in Higher Education, held in Anaheim, CA on June 22-25, 2024.
This experience will convene leadership teams from each of our newly selected Cohort Five institutions and focus on the role of leaders in advancing a national narrative on first-generation student success while offering critical training and professional development. Teams will have the opportunity to meet with Expert Guides, network with peer institutions, and finalize continuous improvement priorities for the coming year. This year we are providing funding to cover four nights’ hotel stay for your president or chancellor and FIVE additional attendees from your First Scholars Leadership Team. We will be working with your institutional primary contacts to identify who will represent your institution and ask that you make your own attendance, along with cabinet-level leaders, a priority.
