On January 30, 2018, the Center for First-generation Student Success convened over 100 higher education leaders to discuss the current issues institutions face in serving first-generation students and to develop partnerships and solutions for change. This report introduces the Center for First-generation Student Success, provides insight into our reason for gathering and overview of proceedings, highlights key takeaways, and details participants and social media activity.
