2023 First-Generation College Celebration

Miami Dade College will kickoff a week-long series of events to celebrate and recognize the successes of first-generation students, faculty and staff at the Kendall Campus. We start the week with 'planting a seed for their future' discussion lead by deans, then provide workshop opportunities, and end with a Living Library for all first gen stories to be shared.
