Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's First-Generation College Celebration

2023 First-Generation College Celebration
Rensselaer will host a cider donut sundae and hot apple cider bar at our "We're Glad You're Here" event on November 8th. First Generation staff, Faculty, and students will be able to send post cards to someone who helped them on their journey; take pictures at our photo booth and pass along valuable advice to incoming first gen students. We will also distribute RPIFirst laptop stickers.
2022 First-Generation College Celebration
Rensselaer is offering opportunities for First Gen. students to tell us "why they are first" throughout the day, at locations across campus - in exchange for #1 cookies. Students' notes are being brought together that evening at a campus-wide reception for students, faculty, and staff, where students will be able to use create AI generated images of their future.
